Why email works best: In-person visits are highly effective, but email gets you in front of more providers faster. We typically recommend starting with email, then following up with in-person visits for providers who show interest. That in-person follow-up has led to 4+ referrals within the first month for some practices.
The personalization that matters: Check out the provider’s website beforehand. Reference their specialties. Mention something specific about their practice. The more templatized you make your follow-ups, the faster you’ll move. But the initial email must feel personal.
Structured time blocks: Set up a structured time every Friday or Thursday to do in-person visits. Consistency beats intensity. One visit per week, every week, is more effective than a burst of ten visits followed by months of silence.
