Becoming a Billable Technician in New Jersey

The earning ceiling further up the ladder is real money, and it’s specific to this state. New Jersey’s Behavioral Healthcare Provider Loan Redemption Program lists board certified behavior analysts as an eligible profession, worth up to $50,000 per two years of full-time work at an approved site, capped at $150,000 over six years. That’s not on the table at the RBT level. But it’s a concrete reason to keep climbing the credential ladder in New Jersey specifically, rather than in a state with no comparable program.
